Something intentional is coming to our local coffee spaces this Thanksgiving season.

We are beautiful, community-rooted spaces, and this November, Vera Studio is partnering with Qamaria Yemeni Coffee Co. and Scout Cafe to bring you The Gratitude Grove—an interactive visual installation designed to help us pause, reflect, and connect.

Anchored right by the cafe windows, this seasonal installation invites you to participate in a simple, gentle exchange: Take what you need. Leave what you can.

How to Participate

The Interaction: Browse the custom dried-botanical wall. If you need a word of encouragement, take a handmade botanical affirmation card from the display. If you feel inspired, grab a blank card from the bottom row, write down what you are deeply thankful for, and clip it to the grove to help the installation grow.
The Seasonal Combo: Treat yourself to a moment of grounding. At the registers, you can order a special Gratitude & Latte Combo featuring a signature seasonal latte paired with a limited-edition Vera Studio botanical card.
Artisanal Keepsakes: Looking to take the warmth home or gift a loved one? Standalone botanical affirmation cards will be available for purchase at the counter, or via a quick-scan QR code directly at the installation.

Where & When to Find Us

November 16th | Launching at Qamaria Yemeni Coffee Co. (Newark, DE)
November 19th | Launching at Scout Cafe (Wilmington, DE)

Both installations will remain active through Thanksgiving Day.

Come grab a warm drink, slow down, breathe, and add your piece to the grove. We can't wait to watch our community's gratitude bloom together.

Solo Date Adventure

I really enjoyed this workshop and even made some pieces on my own, since participating! Everyone was nice and I love how we were encouraged to be ourselves and creative! Maria was bubbly, personable, and lead the class in a calm but playful manner that was really fun! I would definitely do it again!

GALentine's Day Floral Arranging Class

A girlfriend & I attended a floral arranging class at the Delaware Horticulture Center, led by Maria. We had a fabulous night learning and applying the principles of design. Maria began the session with a few slides to provide education & inspiration, then we moved into the hands on portion of the evening. What I loved most about Maria was her positive attitude and coaching style. It allowed each attendee to create their own personal arrangement. No two arrangements looked alike.
Maria is clearly a pro. Her style is wonderfully engaging, and the photos she shared of work were breathtaking. I'm grateful we were introduced through this event!

This piece came out absolutely beautifully, Maria worked with me day-to-day on this custom piece and had great communication throughout the entire process, literally until the day it was delivered and she even reached out to ensure it was delivered properly and intact. We have done 3 classes with Maria now, the latest was a wreath. She is so amazing! She’s very personable and fun. She brings so much knowledge and you can tell she’s passionate. Wreath Workshop

I joined Vera Studios for a wreath making class. The class was such an enjoyable time and I was so impressed by how beautiful everyone's wreath turned out. I had zero experience with wreath making and and am not very crafty, but even I was able to walk away with a product I'm excited to keep on my front door. Maria provided a TON of materials to choose from which made the process so much fun! I'll definitely be back to future workshops and highly recommend them to anyone who hasn't attended yet!
