Join us to make three crafts in celebration of Romance Bookstore Day with Huxley and Hiro! Each ticket covers all three crafts you'll do with us and can take home. We’ll create a laid-back vibe with three craft stations set up, including "Bedazzle Your Own Book" (bring your favorite romance novel or, better yet, pick up a new one from Huxley before the workshop!). Connect with local indie romance lover, Jessie (see her book rec’s below). Make a gorgeous, one-of-a-kind floral frame for your reading nook with horticulture and floral artist Maria from Vera Studio. Design a personalized (maybe spicy) bookmark using collage materials, a tassel, and have it laminated by local Delaware artist Ari.

A tidbit fact:
Why I love Romance? How even the most flawed, complex characters can grow leading them to their happily ever afters. It instills hope in love.
More about Maria:
Maria's passion for horticulture and floral artistry began ten years ago. What started as a gardening hobby soon flourished into a fulfilling career and a way to share joy with others.
Today, Maria owns a local floral studio known for wedding/event florals, bouquets, floral preservation and dried/preserved décor. Her artistic flair and dedication to quality attract clients seeking unique floral designs.
With 15 years of early childhood education in her background, Maria blends practical experience with an imaginative teaching style. Her approach resonates with students, encouraging artistic expression across all ages.
Maria aims to inspire students to discover their artistic voices and confidently bring their floral visions to life. Her classes emphasize creativity and self-expression. She loves to bring humor into her classroom and make her students feel heard and supported.
More about Ari:
