Our Process

Date Reservation and Initial Steps
1. Reserve Your Date: Prior to your event, reserve a shipping or delivery date for your fresh flowers to our studio by submitting the $50 deposit on Etsy. We will review and confirm your floral shipping date within two business days. If we are unable to accommodate your date, your reservation fee will be refunded.

2. Confirm Your Date: Once your reservation date is confirmed, we will contact you via email to collaborate on your design style and frame size. At this stage, the $50 reservation deposit becomes nonrefundable as it secures your spot and contributes to the cost of supplies needed for your flowers.

3. Invoice Submission: During the collaboration stage, you will receive a total invoice, due upon receipt of your bouquet at our studio. Shadow box frames options include (but are not limited to):
- **8x10 frame**: $225 + Return Shipping
- **11x14 frame**: $325 + Return Shipping
- **16x20 frame**: $440 + Return Shipping
- **18x24 frame**: $500 + Return Shipping
- **20x24 frame**: $550 + Return Shipping

If you have a frame size in mind that you do not see here, we are happy to work with you to find the perfect frame size (depending on availability).

Shipping and Delivery
- Shipping Instructions: Detailed shipping instructions for your flowers will be emailed to you. Shipping fees are paid by the customer. If you are near Newark, DE, local drop-off is preferred and can be arranged.
- Condition of Flowers: We accept flowers dropped off or delivered within four days of your event to ensure freshness. We can only work with the condition of the flowers provided to us. Flower replacement is available at an extra cost.

Preservation and Design
- Processing Time: After your flowers arrive at our studio, please allow approximately 3-4 weeks for project completion.
- Return Shipping: Return shipping fees are paid by the customer and included in the invoice. Local pick-up near Newark, DE, can be arranged.

Disclaimers
- The $50 deposit is **nonrefundable** once the event date is confirmed.
- Flowers may not retain their original color. They naturally change color during drying and over time. Color correction is available upon request and will be included in your invoice.
- Vera Studio is not responsible for lost or damaged flowers during mail delivery. We will work with the best florals received; flower replacement is available upon request and for an extra fee.
- Extra florals, ribbons, etc will not be returned unless requested.
- Once completed, your shadow box frame will be carefully and thoughtfully shipped in a box marked as fragile. Once your frame leaves our studio, we are not responsible for any damage during shipping. Please purchase shipping insurance to ensure a refund on potentially damaged items.
- This is a custom made product; returns will not be accepted.
